I don't always have a sewing machine around, either that or we aren't always on speaking terms (she's a little finicky) But that doesn't stop me! Here is a simple no-sew headband that you can make pretty much anywhere....say like a long road trip?
All you need is: Fabric (it's a great way to use up scraps) & scissors!
Step 1: Cut your fabric into about 12 pieces roughly 1 inch by 2 inches (you can change size depending on how thick or thin you want your pieces to be)
I did 6 of each color but you can add more depending on the size of your head.
Step2: fold in half the long way and then fold the short way to cut a hole on both ends.
Step 3: Thread one of the pieces through the hole of another.

Continue doing so until you have added all the pieces.
Step 4: Cut two long strips of fabric and thread it through the hole on the last piece. And braid together. Do so on the other end and knot.

And that's it! It's as simple as that. ...just gotta wear it!
